I have had an absolute gutful of referees deciding NRL matches. My team in particular. You would say "Of course" but watch a replay of tonight's match and see for yourself.
How many forward passes did Souths get away with, all close to the line as well?
How ma\y consecutive penalties were they given to put them in the red zone?
How man\y identical incidents were NOT given a penalty to the Roosters?
How many knock ons and so on did Soths get 6 more tackles for?
Why was Hargreaves not given a penalty after a knock on?.
There.s about 30 incidents wqhich decided this match and I have had a gutful.
NRL, do something about it. What do those touch judges do? NOTHING.
You can't beat a team with 17 plus the referees althopugh we did manahe it in many games this year.
We may as well have not bothered. Truly, it is sickening. It is why the NRL fan support is dropping through the floor. It is why I have switched to the NFL where referee clangers can be challenged.
In NRL even blatant tries are reviewed and given as NO TRY. Give me strentgh.
