Don't know about you but I love betting on the Melbourne Cup.
Trouble over the last decade really has been the number of unknown overseas horses with no form comparison to use.
This year, frankly, I don't really know ANY of the horses, let alone the overseas ones.
Which should make for a more impartial set of selections. I have no bias as they are all mysteries. I'll do the form on Sunday and have selections ready for Sunday night.
Think I'll cover the whole meeting in case you're hitting the track. I remember one year we had all had a bad day and were at the pub consoling but Melbourne had one race left to bet on. So we put a few bucks togther, about $5 each only and made up a trifecta.
We got it and all ended up up $300 on the day, each., Never happens except it did that day!
I usually only bet on the Cup.
