Market Musings

Hi all you share junkies and gambler's,

I haven't commented much latewly as it's treading water really.

The ASX did go to 5550 or so but you'll note today it is back to just above 5400, where it usually settles before going whichever way.

The Dow has also climbed a bit, up to 17600 which is a good up for them.

After the announcements yesterday of the Free Trade agreement by the USA and China plus their combined announcement about going to carbon trading AND raising the amount they want to lose, of carbon in the air plus all good reports from the key indicators in the US I am expecting their market to have somewhat of a climb further up.

Whether Australia gets the benefit of that really depends on Abbott changing his mind (????) and putting a Carbon tax back in as he MUST to match the US and China. He has no excuses left and will find himself out of a job if he does not. Business wants it settled and with both the big countries turnind quickly that way he must or die. I'd prefer him to die first but we can't have everything we want now can we?

Abbott wins FUCKWIT OF THE YEAR AWARD this year, clearly.

So I'm saying hold on the ASX for now and jump on board the Dow.
