Now, I'm not one to support any build up of arms at all but it seems mankind is not mature enough to understand that if no one has long range capabilities then there is NO chance of an attack.
I can never understand war or people who stir it up all the time. I'm a big fan of olden days when any war had the Leader at the front of the attack, sword in hand. If we had that today, there would be no wars, ever.
However, given that all countries are pursuing the greatest strength they can afford I have no idea why our Government, Malcolm Turnbull's, not ours really, has used the purchase and building of this new equipment as a political and vote catching tool.
Would you not have thought that priority one would be to have the most well made, capable and perfect machines possible?
Oh no, our PM gives the building to the State they have nearly destroyed by abandoning industries there. To catch votes of course, no priority to the quality of those machines.
Adelaide got to build them, so we're told. As well as a slew of various boats which cannot be stopped, even by Abbott.
Throw in the 70+ planes Abbott ordered from the US years ago now, never delivered as they do not work. They are still on our order sheet despite the fact that the US will not use them. But apparently we will, whenever they are actually able to fly, if they ever can.
So much for prioritising the efficiency and safety of our troops. It's WHERE they are built that matters. ONLY.
Fuck you Turnbull, liar and briber extraordinaire. A new name for you. Turn Bull into shit.
