The incompetence of the West's defence against so called terror attacks continues to justify my opinion of their abilities.
Sure some "plots" are foiled and prevented but how many get through this supposed impenetrable line of defence.
The answer is easy. Anyone who really wants to.
Currently the powers that be are scrambling around, forming Committees to formulate plans on how to deal with, and prevent lone wolf attacks.
Frankly it reminds me so much of a detective in an older movie called "Little Murders". Elliot Gould stars but some great characters. The plot is Elliott has a girlfriend and her family are looney tunes. Before Elliott marries his girl, she gets shot dead. New York, and the dying is easy.
There are murders every day and seemingly no one has any idea who is doing it.
But the detective on Elliott's wife to be's case one night bursts in and announces they finally have identified a pattern. Which sounds great and gives them hope, until he outlines his theory.
He says words to this effect:,
"We have identified three things in common with every single one of these murders. They are, firstly, that each murder is not connected to any other. Secondly, the murders appear to be random. And finally, we cannot solve them!!!".
Well, that settles that doesn't it? Now they have a pattern they should be able to solve all murders. NOT.
SO Elliott and his new almost family decide to buy a rifle. They get it home and decide who will take the first shot. Every time they open a spot to shoot out of a bullet seems to fly in or near that exit. But they start shooting strangers, for no reason, just because they were there. And even the detective gets a shot or two. And they all feel great and live happily ever after. Until they get shot of course.
That appears to be what our Defence and Secret morons are looking for. The latest being "How do we predict and prevent lone wolf attacks?"
Answer, you can't, stupid. ISIS will claim anything of course but the reality is they had nothing to do with it.
If they are going to anticipate lone wolf attacks then every single one of us MUST be on their risk list. Everyone.
Where do they get people who think like that? You can't prevent what you can't predict, all you can do is cleanup and analyse it to death until the next event. That's their plan you know. CLean up ands pretend they have learnt something. They haven't.
I would suggest that Australia's best defence against this type of thing is to SHUT THE FUCK UP and stop poking our head up as if we can do something. Less attracting attention and more quiet, behind the scenes investigations. Get if OFF the front pages and get it OUT of the news. Shit, all ISIS or whoever has to do is look up our ideas etc. on the internet and it's all there for them. STUPIDITY reigns.
