Julie Bishop. Is she challenging Turnbull?

Hi Y'all,

Don't know if you heard Bishop's speech about a white paper for foreign policy but it ever I heard a speech that says "Make me Prime Minister", that was it.

Poor old Julie, emphasis on the "old", is it 25 terms now as number 2? Or not quite? She's finally realised she's not 13, or even 53 and stopped the mascara mess. Hopefully.

In that speech, she made the same old mistake all politicians make here in Australia. She referred to our political system as a "democracy".

Of course we don't and no country does. Democracy is exactly the same as the theory of every political system. Looks great on paper but add humans and it doesn't work. Read "Animal Farm", George Orwell. Someone always wants to be MORE EQUAL.

Democracy is defined as "government for the people by the people". It's not even close as here, government is run by Parties, not people. Not only that but our country, Australia is actually run by usually old, usually mega rich, usually white and usually men. It's called an oligarchy and those in control never stand for election do they? Has Rupert ever tried that? NO, he runs it from his desk and TV channels. And papers. CEO's at big organisations make up the small group who are actually running it, for themselves of course.

Apparently Julie is unaware of this.
