Hi there,
One of the features of the Internet of course, is forums like Google provides here.
You would think it a good way to promote learning, giving and taking, sharing.
But no, that's quite rare in fact. Mainly it is one person making wild assertions, sweeping statements and opining totally erroneously. Yet most who reply support the geek who does that. They must think because the poster is so adamant about his or her claims that they know what they are talking about.
Alas, this is often not the case with the extremely foolish claims are supported by a combination of censorship, deleting any opposing views, blocking or muting such views, and, yes, in some cases people even create multiple ID's and use those extra ID's to support themselves and/or deride the poster who does not agree and clearly states their opposition to the stated views.
I find this very odd behaviour and must stem from the original poster's total lack of any real opinion that they really believe. SO they garner support for that erroneous view simply to appear knowledgeable.
There is one particular guy who is making claims of how to find Inner Peace, claims to be a Mystic activist, whatever the fuck that is, and generally seems to think he owns pages and can tell others how and what to write. He is clearly one of those who is likely to have multiple ID's for strengthening his views.
I find such people abhorrent and boring frankly. You see, this guy looks to be in his thirties and "knows" how to find inner peace. A remarkable claims when it is widely known that becoming capable of maintaining such a state requires many years of disciplined self training and the ability to find insights where others see nothing.
I have come to a place of a peaceful and contented mind, no fear, able to laugh and generally just enjoy myself. That has required me to cut out so many people who were in my life as I found them to be "users". Just friendly for what they could get.
That was not a journey I chose but nevertheless I arrived at the destination this guy claims he knows all about.
Bluntly, he's full of shit and he knows it.
He is incapable of saying what he has and hasn't achieved but will never do so as the many sycophants who believe writing on forums is all about not using "bad" language and just agreeing with the repetetive and cliched claims of so many.
"Bad language". I've never known language to behave in any particular way myself. It is simply a choice of words created and used commonly by most people on the planet. Words that his or her parents told them were "Bad language".
To that person I highly recommend buying an album of George Carlin, deceased, who exposaed the hypocrisy behind the "10 words you can't use on TV or radio". He blew that taboo apart yet there are still those who make judgements about someone for actually using those words. He concluded that because I use such words that I must be of low intelligence. Alas, my IQ is 154 and, no, I am not stupid, just selective in using words to fit the occasion. And here's one such occasion. That guy is a total fuckwit. There you go, a bad word that describes him, accurately.
