As most of you would know, there is a broken election promise from Abbott swinging in the breeze regarding the building of 12, or is it 8, submarines. Our current ones have apparently reached their use by date although it will take years to build the "new" batch anyway.
Abbott has supposedly already signed an agreement with Japan despite saying nothing has been decided yet. Yeah, right huh?
If we never intend to build submarines here in Australia, why the fuck do we have such a facility in Adelaide AT ALL? Money down the drain either way.
Make up your fucking minds and build them wherever and get rid of the Australian submarine facade. You want to save money? Well there's an obvious choice.
Besides all that bullshit, can ANYONE tell me why Australia needs submarines AT ALL. Who are we going to invade? What purpose will they actually serve? Deep sea fishing? Searching for lost planes which will never be found?
This is a pointless exercise and is a demonstration of how government's think, or plan. BADLY.
