Well, the polls said Newman was gone but they didn't predict the end of the LNP government.
People had just had a gutful of dictatorial, arrogant and uncaring politicians and they said so yesterday.
For those Coaltion voters left, Abbott is next. If they were wise the Coalition would dump Abbott right now but they aren't and won't.
The only way they could win now is if Abbott defected to Labor.
I say Abbott will dump every policy he has and look like a circus clown doing back flips across the arena. Looking weak, confused and lost. End of his career too. May not have to wait for an election but whatever happened to his threats of calling double dissolution's?
You know, Abbott's government has to be the most complete failure in our history. Couldn't pass even one Budget. If it was QLD with no Upper House that Budget would be live now and the poor wouldn't be poor anymore. They'd be destitute and homeless.
As Glenn Lazarus said recently, "You can polish a turd but it's still a turd".
