Seems the GOP has finally hit the panic button and is looking to select an independent candidate for President.
I cannot say I'm sorry to hear that as I detest the Republicans. Not real keen on the Democrats either but it's down to an "anything but Trump" stage isn't it?
Trouble is Trump will just stand as an independent himself and destroy the GOP. Ahhhhh you reap what you sow is a relevant saying here. What a bunch of hypocrites they are. They surely knew what Trump was like before they let him run. We all did.
And in Australia, we hear that Turnbull has now fallen out with his "Treasurer", the guy who can't even drive with L plates on. Morrison. He's totally screwed up the Financial "expertise" they were going to try and claim. No chance of that now.
Turnbull is apparently going for a double dissolution of Parliament which means every MP and Senator is out and the election will select the whole lot, again. Stupidity reigns.
The way Turnbull has dicked around and played with the election date as if it was HIS and not ours will likely lead him to lose. I'd predict a hung Parliament myself. And also Abbott to challenge Turnbull and beat him, after the election of course. Deja vu anyone?
